Contract Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled professional to join our team in the Hunter region.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys using their legal skills, industrial relations experience or building industry knowledge to make a direct and positive impact.

You will have the opportunity to meet members face-to-face, provide advice, support committees, prepare and deliver training presentations on key business compliance issues, and assist with formulating policy submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice to members on contracts and compliance matters
  • Support committees and working groups to develop policies and procedures
  • Deliver training and presentations on key business compliance issues
  • Assist with formulating policy submissions and lobbying governments and regulators

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in law, industrial relations, construction, or a related discipline
  • Good working knowledge of workplace relations law and/or construction law
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
