We are looking for a highly accomplished and visionary academic leader to serve as the Head of School, Population Health at UNSW Faculty of Medicine. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of public health education, research, and practice.
About the RoleThis is a senior academic leadership position that requires a strong track record of achievement in research, teaching, and leadership. You will have overall responsibility for the strategic and operational leadership of the School of Population Health, working closely with the Faculty Dean and other key stakeholders.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing creative leadership in the development and implementation of innovative teaching and learning offerings and research programs within the School and across the faculty
- Aligning and integrating the School's teaching and research across the broader faculty and its partners
- Managing teaching and research quality and impact within the School aligned to the Faculty and UNSW strategic objectives
You will be a member of the UNSW Medicine & Health leadership team and will contribute to the development and implementation of the Faculty's strategy and goals.

- A distinguished record of academic excellence in contributions to teaching and learning, with an outstanding contribution to teaching at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels
- Highly desirable to have a track record of innovation in education and development of new programs
- Succesful interaction with relevant key stakeholders in the field, including national and international professional organisations, government
