Job Description:

The Claims Management Group is a key contributor to our strategic objectives, focusing on delivering an effective, fully funded, and sustainable workers' compensation scheme. This group works closely with employers and employees to identify and implement strategies that facilitate early return-to-work or recovery at work.

The team operates under two sub-units: Income Support and Financial and Client Services. The Income Support unit handles incapacity payments, including determining incapacity, processing payment, and recovering overpayments. The Financial and Client Services unit undertakes administrative claim functions such as provider payment processing, document processing, and call handling for the contact centre.

Financial and Client Services Administration Role Overview

This role involves providing client support functions, including handling claims calls, performing non-complex provider payment processing, and accurately receiving and classifying claim documentation.

The successful candidate will contribute to achieving key performance indicators for the Financial and Client Services team and report directly to the Senior Claims Payment Services Officer or the Senior Client Services Officer.

Income Administration Role Overview

This role entails providing timely and accurate incapacity processing activities, including determining simple normal weekly earnings/hours, processing Claim for Time off Work forms, supporting debt recovery functions, and assisting in payments for claimants. The candidate will be responsible for undertaking incapacity tasks within required timeframes and complying with set procedures while ensuring accurate receipting and recording of agency records.

The successful candidate will contribute to achieving key performance indicators for the Income Support team and report directly to the Senior Income Support Assessment Officer or the Senior Income Assurance Officer or Senior Income Support Payment and Recoveries Officer.
