Insurance Business Process Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Insurance Operations Specialist to join our team. This role involves providing sound investigation, ownership and decision making skills across a variety of areas including managing complex insurance enquiries and escalations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and updating insurance business rules, identifying opportunities for process improvements and supporting implementation of product and pricing changes.
This is a key position within our organisation that requires strong written and oral communication skills, as well as excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complex insurance enquiries and escalations through management of the insurance operations inbox;
- Review and update of insurance business rules;
- Identify, communicate, and assist to implement opportunities for process improvements;
- Support implementation of product and pricing changes;
- Assist with insurance related breaches and incidents.
Requirements:
- At least five years' experience in an insurance role, superannuation or insurance administration is desired;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to proofread, spelling & English grammar skills essential;
- Well-developed sense of initiative. Able to work diligently, efficiently, and with accuracy paying close attention to detail;
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage the range of tasks required of this position;
- An excellent working knowledge of/experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Outlook.
