
Insurance Business Process Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Process Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our business, you will be responsible for analysing and improving existing business processes.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will provide broad support to our Group Life & Retirement business unit, assisting in documenting, developing, and delivering operational frameworks and business processes across the business unit.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the development of centralised framework and tools to manage annual attestations, partner insurer questionnaires, and other contractual obligations for the business unit
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders across TAL to facilitate training and information sessions on initiatives
- Contributing to the development, implementation, and maintenance of operational risk control registers in collaboration with the Line 1 Risk team
- Documenting process flow diagrams and change impact summaries for key business processes and stakeholder areas
- Coordinating and conducting business requirements workshops with internal stakeholders and providing process training to the Group Partnerships team
- Creating and maintaining a comprehensive catalogue of business processes, process flows, and definitions
- Preparing monthly Risk Committee reports / packs as required
The ideal candidate will have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), experience with Microsoft Lists, Power BI, Visio, and SharePoint, and proven ability to lead and deliver multiple concurrent projects.
Additionally, the successful candidate will have experience in coordinating work across enterprise functions, including engagement with senior leaders, and ability to identify and implement continuous process improvements and operational efficiencies.
High-level organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage large volumes of information from diverse stakeholders, and exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, including presentation skills, are essential for this role.
