We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Artist to join our team in Brisbane, Australia.
">Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain complex character rigs for characters, creatures, and objects using industry-leading software such as Maya.
- Collaborate with modellers, animators, and programmers to ensure seamless integration and efficient production pipelines.
- Design and implement tools/scripts to streamline production processes and improve artist efficiency.
- Analyze technical requirements and provide expert guidance to the team on rigging, skinning, and animation best practices.
- Provide training and support to artists on new production techniques and game engine constraints.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with expertise in 3D software and scripting languages.
- Strong knowledge of Python, dotnet/C#, and device limitations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical terms to stakeholders.
- Proficiency in 3D modelling, texturing, shading, lighting, rendering, skinning, rigging, VFX, and animation.
