Job Summary:

">Rigging TD/CG Generalist

As a Rigging TD/CG Generalist, you will play a crucial role in our studio's success by working closely with the Senior Rigger and animation team to deliver high-quality projects across film, television, and commercials.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in character setup, asset management, and rigging, as well as excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

  • Character Setup: Set up biped and quadruped rigs for production using industry-standard software.
  • Asset Management: Manage prop assets throughout the pipeline to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Motion Capture Animation: Retarget motion capture animation to custom rigs, requiring strong understanding of anatomy and geometry.
  • Generalist Tasks: Perform a variety of tasks as directed by the Senior Rigger and Animator, including but not limited to setting up environments, creating special effects, and troubleshooting technical issues.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Arts, Computer Animation, or relevant area of study, and/or equivalent job experience.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, geometry, and animation principles.
  • Proficient in Maya and basic MEL scripting.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with rigging different biped characters.
