Rigging Technical Director/CG Generalist
Job Summary:The role of a Rigging TD/CG Generalist involves working on a range of exciting projects across film, television, and commercials.
As a key member of our studio team, you will work closely with the Senior Rigger and animation team to help with character setup, management of assets through the pipeline, and other generalist tasks throughout the studio.
This is a challenging and rewarding role working with a world-class crew. Ideal candidates will already have good industry experience and understand the demands and responsibilities of the position from the outset.
Responsibilities:- Biped and quadruped rig setups for production
- Managing prop assets in our pipeline
- Retargeting motion capture animation to custom rigs
- A variety of other tasks as directed by Senior Rigger and Animator
- Bachelor's degree in Arts, Computer Animation, or another relevant area of study, and/or equivalent job experience
- A strong understanding of anatomy, geometry, and animation
- A strong knowledge of Maya and basic MEL
- A strong attention to detail
- Experience rigging a variety of different bi-ped characters
- Proficiency in Maya
- Strong understanding of rigging techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a collaborative environment
