The role of a Clinical Specialist is to provide expert support and guidance to individuals with diverse needs and aspirations. This includes conducting thorough assessments, offering counseling interventions, and referring candidates to external support services.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of candidates to identify their skills and job-readiness;
- Develop and implement effective counseling strategies to address barriers to employment;
- Refer candidates to external services to address identified barriers;
- Monitor case progression and provide evaluations on assessments;
- Liaise with medical professionals and community agencies to ensure seamless support for candidates;
- Deliver training and guidance to colleagues on psychological services and procedures.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in psychology or a related field;
- Eligibility for registration with the relevant professional body;
- Experience in employment services and knowledge of psychology assessment/intervention strategies;
- Exceptional communication, rapport-building skills, and engagement;
- Ability to construct accurate and articulate case reports;
- Proven ability to work towards generating positive outcomes for clients.
