About the Role:

We are seeking an exceptional professional to join our team as a Career Developer.

As a Career Developer, you will be responsible for guiding individuals towards job-readiness and enabling opportunities for employment.

You will work closely with clients to understand their goals and aspirations, and develop strategies to support them in achieving their objectives.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, employers, and other stakeholders.

You will also have a passion for helping people, a flexible and adaptable approach, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.

About the Job:

The Job Coach's role is to provide personalized support to clients, helping them to overcome barriers and achieve their employment goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building relationships with local employers to source job opportunities
  • Encouraging and motivating participants through appropriate activities to find their own employment
  • Reverse marketing clients to employers
  • Placing participants into sustainable employment leading to outcomes
  • Ensuring all activity is appropriately recorded, documented and adheres to compliance and/or contractual requirements
  • Providing exceptional service to clients, employers and other stakeholders at every stage of the process

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in customer service or a client-facing role
  • Demonstrated experience of working with people overcoming challenges
  • Happy and confident liaising with multiple external and internal stakeholders
  • Confident working to KPIs and making placements that result in sustainable and lasting employment for our clients/employers
  • An overall desire to be part of our broader community, with a true belief in our purpose: to connect people and business, so both can thrive
