Job Title

Seeking experienced healthcare professionals to join our Perioperative team on a full-time basis. Part-time hours may be considered for strong applicants.

  • Deliver safe, evidence-based standards of patient care
  • Supervise and direct nursing team members to deliver quality care
  • Deliver education and support to patients for health recovery, rehabilitation or end-of-life needs
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives to deliver desired outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to support patient care needs
  • Act as a role model for best practice

To be successful in this role you will require:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in Scrub Scout / Perioperative Nursing
  • Proven perioperative experience in one or more specialties: Neurosurgery, Vascular, Cardio-thoracic, General, Urology, Gynae, Robotics
  • Current Authority to Work in Australia
  • Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
  • Current Registration (no restrictions) with AHPRA
  • Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
  • Clinical expertise and commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement
  • Self-motivated and able to work as part of a high-functioning team
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Hold a valid NSW Working with Children check for employment
  • Hold a Post Graduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing (or working towards)
