
Advanced Patient Care Specialist

Seeking experienced healthcare professionals to join our Perioperative team on a full-time basis. Part-time hours may be considered for strong applicants.
- Deliver safe, evidence-based standards of patient care
- Supervise and direct nursing team members to deliver quality care
- Deliver education and support to patients for health recovery, rehabilitation or end-of-life needs
- Lead quality improvement initiatives to deliver desired outcomes
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to support patient care needs
- Act as a role model for best practice
To be successful in this role you will require:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in Scrub Scout / Perioperative Nursing
- Proven perioperative experience in one or more specialties: Neurosurgery, Vascular, Cardio-thoracic, General, Urology, Gynae, Robotics
- Current Authority to Work in Australia
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
- Current Registration (no restrictions) with AHPRA
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Clinical expertise and commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement
- Self-motivated and able to work as part of a high-functioning team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Hold a valid NSW Working with Children check for employment
- Hold a Post Graduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing (or working towards)
