Job Title: Advanced Care Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Nurse Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centred care to patients in the perioperative setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive and accurate nursing assessments of patients, identifying their individual needs and priorities.
  • Continuously assess and monitor patients' condition, adapting care plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with medical officers, multidisciplinary teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Prioritise and implement planned care to achieve expected outcomes, demonstrating a commitment to evidence-based practice.
Requirements:
  • Recent demonstrated experience in a perioperative role, with a strong focus on patient-centred care.
  • Relevant post-registration qualification (or equivalent experience) in a relevant field, such as perioperative nursing or critical care.
  • Demonstrated initiative and desire to continually improve patient care through ongoing education, training, and professional development.
  • Demonstrated effective communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Registration as a nurse authorised to practice by AHPRA, with a valid practising certificate.
