Genetic Information Specialist

As a Genetic Counsellor, you will provide genetic information and counseling to clients and their families, organize appropriate genetic tests under supervision of a clinical geneticist or relevant medical officer, and provide support to individuals and families to minimize the impact of a genetic diagnosis.
This role involves working in a clinical genetic unit and providing genetic counseling services. You will work closely with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to understand their needs and develop personalized care plans.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Holds an undergraduate degree in an appropriate discipline (e.g., Science, Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, or other relevant discipline)
- Postgraduate qualification in genetic counselling and board eligibility with the Board of Censors for Genetic Counselling (Human Genetics Society of Australasia)
