About the role 

As a Genetic Counsellor, you will provide genetic counselling for IVF Australia and Virtus health.

The scope of the genetic counselling role involves, but is not limited to:

  • Case management for single gene PGT work up
  • Gamete donor program – genetic review of donors and intended parents
  • Genetic counselling for new diagnoses of chromosomal disorders and high-risk genetic carrier screening results
  • Genetic counselling related to PGT results
  • Provide genetic counselling support for non-genetic specialist teams

Essential Criteria

  • HGSA Board Eligible Genetic Counsellor or equivalent
  • Experience in genetic counselling in a clinical setting

Desirable:

  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
