Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and driven Event Coordinator to support our venue teams in event administration, planning, delivery, and organizational projects. This role will see you working closely with clients, business partners, stakeholders, and the Event Delivery Workforce team to drive operational, customer, and people improvements at events.

The Event Coordinator will perform Team Leader roles during events, focusing on coaching the Event Delivery Workforce and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will also work on various projects, including developing operational, customer, and people improvements.

This role has a clear development pathway into Venue & Event Management and other support areas of our business. We offer opportunities for career growth and development, where each day is different, challenging, and purposeful.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome thousands of visitors back to entertainment events in one of Australia's most iconic venues
  • Plan and deliver VIP functions for top artists
  • Work on internal meetings and events
  • Respond to guest feedback and enquiries
  • Sit on cross-functional project groups
  • Help set up amazing experiences and make unforgettable memories

Requirements:

  • Operational expertise in an event or venue environment
  • High-level organizational and planning ability, with attention to detail
  • Demonstrated experience as a supervisor or Team Leader
  • Talent in managing multiple demands effectively and remaining calm under pressure
