Working with an impressive variety of Life Science, Professional Services and other Enterprise clients you will become a subject matter expert for SpotMe/Onomi solutions, delivering in-person, remote and hybrid events adding value at every stage of the event project life cycle.
You will appreciate operating at a fast pace on a variety of projects, with a strong customer centric mindset and strong attention to detail, this role will make you part of our growing international team. This will involve independently building, configuring and launching our web and mobile native event apps using SpotMe Backstage (35%). You will be professionally managing our clients, and other senior stakeholders with clear, timely communications to enhance the client experience adding value across the entire project lifecycle (20%).
As you approach the live event, you'll coordinate closely with vendors, internal departments, and the customer to ensure seamless execution on live event day. Responsibilities may include badge printing, iPad sign-in, lead scanning, managing onsite AV and equipment, driving audience engagement, and thoroughly reviewing apps to guarantee flawless delivery (20%). For the live event, you'll ensure speakers are fully briefed and prepared, whether they're presenting in a webinar, hosting a virtual session, or speaking onsite. You'll oversee event operations to ensure everything runs smoothly (20%). Following the event, you'll handle post-event communications, analyze event data, and deliver insightful reports and recommendations to the customer, highlighting successes and identifying areas for future improvement (5%).
Objectives – The Problems You Will Solve
As an Associate Event Project Manager you will be onboarded to the company, become familiar with our systems and processes, be introduced to the team and you will hit the ground running.
In your first month, you will:
- Learn Backstage by getting certified with our SpotMe Academy, and by embedding yourself in building platforms with your line manager

- Participate in virtual live events or onsite events to be trained on our live engagement capabilities and our onsite logistics solutions, event schedule permitting during the first month

- Live event days are defined as a live day, or part day, for an event delivered either remotely or onsite as part of a longer duration event
- End-to-end event ownership: You've led corporate internal and external B2B events from start to finish - webinars, conferences, trade shows, product launches, and more. You understand the structure, pace, and precision these events demand, especially in fast-moving industries like life sciences.
- Cross-functional coordination with operational clarity: You work smoothly across agencies, AV partners, venues, and internal teams. You align expectations early, keep timelines tight, and ensure everyone stays on the same page from planning through execution.
- Technical dexterity in event platforms: You can independently build and configure event platforms like Backstage. You're comfortable navigating registration, content, and streaming workflows - and can collaborate clearly with technical teams when needed.
- Flawless execution under pressure: When events shift or things go off-plan, you move fast and stay composed. You solve problems in real-time, maintain quality, and never let the experience break down - onsite or virtual.
- Ruthless time and risk management: you manage multiple events without missing a beat. You anticipate blockers, plan ahead, and always deliver on time - regardless of format or scale.
- Bonus if you bring industry or data depth: Experience in life sciences helps you understand roles, priorities, and expectations faster.
