About Us
The Supreme Court of Victoria is the highest court in Victoria, comprising the Court of Appeal and the Trial Division. It deals with major criminal and civil matters, plus appeals against decisions of lower courts.
About The Role
As a High-Performance Associate for Judicial Registrar, you will provide high-level legal support and administrative services to the Judicial Registrar. This role requires excellent written and oral communication skills, organisational skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.
About You
We are seeking a legally qualified individual with strong legal research skills, interpersonal, and organisational skills. Post-admission experience is preferred. The successful candidate will be able to manage their time effectively, prioritise workload, and provide excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and case management support to the Judicial Registrar
- Conduct legal research and provide high-level legal support
- Clerk in court, including virtually
- Liaise with practitioners, court staff, and members of the public
- Manage electronic documents and the Judicial Registrar's diary
- Assist with judicial mediations
