Early Years Transition Program Leader

This role is an excellent opportunity to lead a collaborative approach with all stakeholders to enhance the early years transition program.

  • The successful candidate will have a proven track record of building and sustaining strong relationships with schools, ECEC services, and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement an evidence-based plan to support smooth transitions into and through the early years of schooling, in collaboration with all stakeholders.
  2. Lead the implementation of this plan across multiple schools and their ECEC partners.
  3. Establish regular reporting to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with program goals.
  4. Provide targeted support to children, families, and educators during the early years transition phase.
  5. Deliver professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and understanding of early years development and milestones.

Requirements:

  • A current Queensland Government employee.
  • An Early Childhood teaching qualification would be advantageous.
