Job Title:

A Human Resources Specialist role supports the Director of HR and Strategic Operations, ensuring consistency in HR advice, conducting compliance audits, and maintaining accurate records to foster best practices and continuous improvement.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and best practice.
  • Provide employee relations support and coordinate staff performance and wellbeing initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in compliance, policy development, and risk management.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment law, HR best practices, and HRIS systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to child safety and ethical behaviour with relevant qualifications.
  • Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain.
  • Current Level 2 First Aid and CPR Certificate with a commitment to ongoing training.
  • Current anaphylaxis management qualification or willingness to obtain.
  • Current asthma management qualification or willingness to obtain.
