Centre Leadership Role

The Assistant Centre Manager plays a pivotal role in leading and managing the centre, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional customer experiences.

  • Deliver centre-wide results while demonstrating strategic leadership and effective management skills.
  • Possess a range of skills and capabilities across all centre functions, including customer service, sales, health and safety compliance, and pool operations.
  • Provide centre leadership and drive leisure centre attendance and program participation, maintaining a culture of excellence and compliance.

Requirements:
  • Prior experience in industry sectors such as Health, Fitness, Aquatics, Hospitality, Tourism, Retail, or Business is highly desirable.
  • Proven team leadership or people management skills are essential, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of achieving targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Flexibility, adaptability, resilience, and openness to feedback and continuous improvement.
  • A deep understanding of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) regulations and risk management principles, including NSW Health guidelines.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Royal Life Saving Pool Lifeguard Certificate
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Royal Life Saving Pool Operations Certificate
