Leisure Centre Operations Manager

The Leisure Centre Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in the Centre's Leadership Team, overseeing key operational aspects and collaborating with team members to deliver centre-wide results.
This position requires the ability to lead by example, manage centre operations effectively, and possess a range of skills across all centre functions including customer experience, product offerings, swim programs, health and safety compliance, and pool operations.
Main Responsibilities:- Manage and oversee centre operations in the absence of the Centre Manager.
- Assist with revenue generation and other operational elements of the leisure centre.
- Contribute to delivering centre-wide results.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing leisure facilities, marketing, sales, projects, and management. They will also possess excellent customer service skills, sales, and the ability to achieve targets and key performance indicators.
Key Requirements:- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent customer service skills, sales, and target achievement.
- Flexibility, adaptability, resilience, and openness to feedback.
- Understanding of WHS and risk management principles.
Fundamental qualifications for this role include the Royal Life Saving Pool Lifeguard Certificate, Current First Aid Certificate, and Royal Life Saving Pool Operations Certificate.
