We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to manage our packing and removals operations. As a Packing and Removals Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient movement of customer belongings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of packers and movers to meet service delivery targets and customer expectations.
  • Develop and implement effective packing, loading, transportation, and unloading strategies to ensure quality and care.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring that all equipment and vehicles are well-maintained and readily available.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Support the team during peak periods or complex moves to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a packing/removals management role within the transport and logistics industry.
  • Excellent planning, organisational and problem-solving skills to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Strong leadership and people management capabilities to motivate and inspire the team.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Solid knowledge of packing techniques, materials and equipment to ensure safe and efficient moving practices.
  • Forklift operating licence is highly regarded but not essential.
