The HSE specialist will play a pivotal role in implementing and maintaining health, safety, and environmental programs within the organization. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in developing and implementing health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and job safety analyses to identify potential hazards and develop control measures to mitigate risks.
- Maintain accurate records of facility legal and other requirements, including required permits.
- Provide expert advice to local management on health, safety, and environmental regulatory compliance and applicable industry practices.
- Collaborate with facility management to prepare business continuity plans and emergency response plans.
- Develop and deliver health, safety, and environmental training programs to enhance employee knowledge and skills.
- Implement health, safety, and environmental controls and bridging documents for personnel undertaking work at customer sites.
- Promote a culture of safety awareness and encourage employees to report near-miss incidents and hazardous conditions.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
