Job Role

The Cloud Operations Engineer position entails responsibility for operations engineering to deliver ongoing operational support and business initiatives.

Main Responsibilities
  • Implement cloud infrastructure, middleware, and databases using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Develop and maintain continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps, Bicep, PowerShell, DSC, and YAML.
  • Design and implement automation solutions across provisioning, orchestration, and operational workflows.
  • Contribute to business continuity strategies (monitoring, backup, disaster recovery).
  • Support identity and access management and workforce computing solutions.
  • Drive adherence to DevSecOps practices, engineering standards, and governance.
  • Provide technical guidance, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement recommendations.
  • Participate in an on-call roster.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 2+ years' experience in cloud infrastructure and IaC using Bicep.
  • Strong experience in Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.
  • Skills in infrastructure/network troubleshooting, scripting, and orchestration tools.
  • Knowledge of Agile frameworks and modern work-tracking tools (Azure Boards/Jira).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate, influence, and problem-solve.
  • Passion for cloud technology, automation, and design thinking.
