Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Social Worker to support adults with a range of needs, focusing on their well-being, independence, and positive outcomes.

Detailed Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop effective care plans for adults requiring assistance.
  • Provide safeguarding support, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and minimizing risk.
  • Work collaboratively with individuals to promote self-reliance and enhance their overall quality of life.
  • Promote inter-agency collaboration, coordinating efforts with health professionals, housing services, and legal bodies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate case records and contribute to service improvements through data-driven insights.
Essential Requirements
  • Degree in Social Work (or equivalent qualification) is mandatory.
  • Registration with the relevant professional body (Social Work England) is required.
  • Experience in at least one of the following areas: Learning Disabilities, Safeguarding, Mental Health, Forensic, or Crisis Intervention is necessary.
  • Strong understanding of applicable laws and regulations, including the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and Mental Health Act.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A flexible and proactive approach to work is essential.
