Job Description
  • This role requires providing spiritual care and support to students, staff, and families, enhancing their physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver student wellbeing services as part of the school's wellbeing team to foster academic excellence and personal growth.
  2. Contribute to improving student engagement and connectedness through collaborative efforts with teachers and community service organisations.
  3. Provide care and guidance to students, ensuring their safety and well-being, and promoting diversity, understanding, and respect among the school community.
  4. Liaise with government agencies, specialist programs, and allied health professionals to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, and demonstrate a commitment to child safety and wellbeing. They will also have experience in delivering wellbeing services, supporting vulnerable or at-risk children, and collaborating with teachers to develop educational, social, and emotional programs.

This Chaplain will play a vital role in creating an environment that fosters academic excellence, personal growth, and well-being, and contribute to the school's mission to provide a supportive and inclusive community for all students.

This is a part-time position requiring a 2-day-per-week attendance commitment.
