We are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Team Member to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in preparing and presenting exceptional dishes to our guests.

">Responsibilities">

  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety at all times.

  • Assist in the preparation of breakfast, lunch, dinner, room service, functions, and buffet service.

    ">

  • Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment, adhering to strict stock rotation and minimizing waste.

    ">

  • Clean and maintain all equipment and working areas.

    ">

  • Ensure that all food produced meets the highest quality and presentation standards.

    ">

  • Store and handle food correctly in accordance with current regulations.

    ">

  • Monitor daily kitchen requirements and advise the supervisor accordingly.

  • Assist and liaise with the chef on duty as required.

  • A Commercial Cookery Qualification (Cert III or IV) is preferred.

    ">

  • Previous experience in the hotel industry is preferred.

    ">

  • Familiarity with Food Safety and WHS legislation is essential.

  • Service-oriented with an eye for detail.

  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative in a dynamic environment.

    ">

  • Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask.

  • Availability to work a flexible roster including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
