Job Title: Kitchen Assistant

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our team as a kitchen assistant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare ingredients and cook meals in accordance with established recipes and health and safety guidelines.
  • Conduct thorough cleaning and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Rotate stock shelves to ensure fresh ingredients are always available.
  • Implement correct OH&S food preparation techniques to maintain a safe kitchen environment.
  • Minimize waste by implementing efficient ingredient usage practices.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a flexible approach to work arrangements.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
