**Job Title:** Retail Assistant Manager

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Retail Assistant Manager in Cooktown. As a key member of the site management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the success and presentation of the site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Site Manager in all daily operations of the site
  • Meet assigned KPIs
  • Staff rostering, mentoring and training
  • Food preparation and handling
  • Volume cash handling and reconciliations
  • Providing exceptional customer service and operating the console
  • Merchandising, marketing and stock management - receipting inward goods, lifting, restocking and layout variations
  • Ensuring food safety standards are adhered to and followed

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Passionate to provide exceptional customer service

  • Ability to manoeuvre heavy objects (lift up to 30kgs)
