Job Title: Academic Leader for a Unique Education Experience

This is an incredible opportunity for an experienced educator to join the leadership team of Tagai State College as the Head of Campus. The successful applicant will be responsible for leading the school community in developing a shared educational vision, improving student outcomes, and fostering positive relationships between students, teachers, and stakeholders.

  • Uphold the principalship as a values-based, ethical, and moral activity.
  • Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
  • Set high standards for student and staff performance.
  • Active participants in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
  • Form partnerships with parents, other government agencies, community groups, industry, and business.
  • Futures-oriented and strategic.
  • Understand the legislation and policies that impact schooling.
  • Manage resources to achieve goals.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the school community to develop, articulate, and commit to a shared educational vision.
  • Improve educational outcomes for students.
  • Develop and implement effective instructional strategies.
  • Nurture positive relationships between students, teachers, and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Highly effective instructional leader with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to enact and monitor the Explicit Improvement agenda.
  • Capacity to lead a campus and meet the accountabilities of a quality teacher.
