With over 70 giant screens in the venue, a large Bar that caters to the restaurant and bar area. TAB facilities, booth seating, and a large outdoor seating that works into our state-of-the-art venue fit-out it make us the ultimate sports lovers' paradise

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team at The Sporting Globe. As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen brigade to achieve culinary excellence and maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and kitchen cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, inspire, and mentor our kitchen brigade to achieve culinary excellence.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and kitchen cleanliness.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, budgeting, and staff scheduling.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
  • Experience and understanding of financial controls of a hospitality business
  • The ability to lead, train and develop a team.
  • To ensure that all meals are cooked in a manner that adheres to the venue's recipe & plating guides and that all meals are served on time and are of the highest possible quality.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Head Chef / Sous Chef in a hotel, restaurant, or pub environment.
  • Energetic attitude, a team player approach and strong work ethic
  • Passion for providing exceptional quality food to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Commitment to upholding our brand standards, OH&S and food hygiene procedures.
  • Knowledge of food cost control, inventory management, and kitchen operations.
