We're seeking a highly skilled quantitative analyst to collaborate with our team in Sydney. As a key member, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing quantitative models that drive investment decisions.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced quantitative analyst with a passion for financial markets and investing. You'll have a strong academic background in software engineering, computer science, or data science, and experience working with AI/ML systems is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers, analysts, traders, and data engineers to productionise quant signals and workflows.
  • Take ownership of robustness, including monitoring, backtest hygiene, out-of-sample validation, and guardrails to prevent data leakage or overfitting.
  • Contribute to a systematic research platform (factor library, feature store, research notebooks, experiment tracking).
  • Implement and integrate LLM and ML tooling to enhance equity research productivity and workflows.

About You

A strong interest in valuation mechanics and how they can be systematised and enhanced through AI and quantitative methods is essential.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Mastery of linear algebra, probability, statistics, and time series
