About the Role:

As a key member of our portfolio management team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the management of our portfolios and contributing to the day-to-day operational aspects of the funds.

  • Support the portfolio managers in the daily operational management of the funds, including portfolio construction, trading, and monitoring of our investment products.
  • Conduct alpha, risk, and portfolio research in conjunction with the Research and Portfolio Management teams.
  • Represent the business to clients in terms of investment process and outcomes.
  • Manage the operation side of portfolio management, including cashflows, rebalances, and corporate actions.
  • Be involved in stewardship and engagement work.
Your Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need a tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as finance, data science, computer science, or engineering. Additionally, you should have 2-4 years experience in investment management, including quantitative research experience and ideally some exposure to quantitative portfolio management.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Collaborative and innovative approach with good communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Experience and knowledge of computing and programming skills in high-level languages (such as R/Python/SQL), including experience working with large data sets.
