About the Role


This exciting opportunity in our Enterprise Risk Consulting team in Hobart offers a dynamic chance to work closely with Boards and Executive Management, supporting them in navigating their business risks and achieving strategic and operational objectives.



Key Responsibilities



  • You will lead and manage a portfolio of internal audit engagements, delivering high-quality outcomes for clients.
  • Conduct comprehensive internal audits to assess the effectiveness of controls and risk management frameworks.
  • Provide insightful recommendations to enhance business processes and control environments.
  • Develop internal audit plans in collaboration with clients, aligning with their strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Deliver risk advisory projects, including compliance, regulatory audits, performance audits, and governance reviews.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, aiding in business development and maintaining professional networks.
  • Mentor and lead team members, helping them to develop their careers.


Your Experience


To be considered for this role, your qualifications, skills, and experience might include:



  • Relevant post-graduate professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, or CIA are highly regarded.
  • Proven experience in coaching and mentoring team members and junior staff.
  • Experience in internal audit and risk consulting, preferably in a professional services firm, government, or industry.
  • A track record of leading high-performing teams and managing multiple concurrent projects.

Your Salary


The estimated annual salary for this role is around $120,000-$150,000, depending on your experience and qualifications.
