Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Manager to join our Enterprise Risk Consulting team in Hobart. As a Manager, you will lead and manage a portfolio of internal audit engagements, delivering high-quality outcomes for clients. You will conduct comprehensive internal audits to assess the effectiveness of controls and risk management frameworks, providing insights and recommendations to enhance business processes and control environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a portfolio of internal audit engagements, delivering high-quality outcomes for clients.
  • Conduct comprehensive internal audits to assess the effectiveness of controls and risk management frameworks.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance business processes and control environments.
  • Develop internal audit plans in collaboration with clients, aligning with their strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Deliver risk advisory projects, including compliance, regulatory audits, performance audits, and governance reviews.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, aiding in business development and maintaining professional networks.
  • Mentor and lead team members, helping them to develop their careers.

Requirements

  • Relevant post-graduate professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, or CIA are highly regarded.
  • Proven experience in coaching and mentoring team members and junior staff.
  • Experience in internal audit and risk consulting, preferably in a professional services firm, government, or industry.
  • A track record of leading high-performing teams and managing multiple concurrent projects.
