Payroll Project Coordinator Role

The Payroll Project Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the delivery of payroll-related projects, including system enhancements, compliance updates, process improvements, and employee communications.

  • Assist with end-to-end project coordination and administration, including project plans, timelines, and reporting.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate requirements gathering and process documentation.
  • Conduct data analysis, reconciliations, and validation as part of payroll testing phases.
  • Identify and escalate risks or issues that may impact project delivery.
  • Prepare project documentation, communications, and training materials for stakeholders.
  • Contribute to process mapping and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian payroll legislation and enterprise agreements.
Key Skills and Experience Required
  • Advanced Excel skills - Essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in a payroll or HR project role, ideally within a large or complex organisation.
  • Solid understanding of Australian payroll legislation, modern awards, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
