Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Apprentice

As a key member of our team, you will be provided with the opportunity to work across our KC-30A MRTT Aircraft and the C-27J Spartan Aircraft. You will have accountability for:

- Participating in accordance with the relevant Training Agreement and Plan to progress and achieve attainment of competencies required for the Cert IV in Aeroskills.
- Assisting with weekly hangar clean-up and audits as directed by the relevant Crew Leader
- Assisting in performing maintenance activities in support of Crew Leader, Certifying Staff and AME.
- Assisting production and support staff with Base Maintenance activities either in a direct or indirect capacity, as required.
- Continuously auditing Tools; FOD and Aeronautical Product control IAW approved Work Instructions
- Ensuring that all activities undertaken fall within the relevant Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) for the assigned Program and relevant CASA or DASA regulations.
- Sourcing consumables; approved data; tools and co-ordinating with relevant trades for Component and Storage Maintenance.

About This Role

For this position, you will need:

- Completion of theory component of the Cert IV in Aeroskills
- Awareness of CASA and DASA regulatory environment and Framework
- Passion and eagerness to work within the aviation Industry
- Ability to communicate effectively with others and work in a collaborative team environment
- Ability to obtain ASIC / DCAC / NV1
