Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance of Saab 340 turboprop RPT aircraft and components, adhering to regulatory and company rules.

  • Perform routine and non-routine maintenance activities on Saab 340 aircraft.
  • Evaluate and approve maintenance work to ensure high-quality repairs.
  • Conduct maintenance in accordance with aviation regulations and industry standards.
  • Service and maintain tooling and ground equipment.
  • Participate in remote aircraft recovery operations.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance Control and CAMO teams.
  • Liaise with Operations personnel.
  • Coordinate logistics requirements.
  • Hold a sound knowledge of aviation Quality Assurance (QA) principles.
  • Have good working knowledge and sound principles of WH&S practices.
  • Be familiar with Human Factors aspects.
  • Possess basic IT and computer skills.
  • Hold a valid state driver's license.
  • Develop well-rounded verbal and written communication skills.
  • Display a highly motivated and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Exhibit sound work ethics.
  • Ability to work effectively within a close-knit team environment and independently.
  • Present a professional demeanor.

The ideal candidate should possess a B2 license or be currently undertaking Diploma-level training for an AME certification.
