Financial Management Role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Manager to lead our financial accounting function. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and advice to enable efficient management decision-making.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including general ledger maintenance and balance sheet account reconciliations.

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including review of all statutory returns prior to submission.

  • Maintain the fixed asset register, ensuring assets are depreciated in line with relevant accounting policies.

  • Complete finished goods, raw material, and packaging stock management and reconciliation reporting.

  • Maintain daily cash flow and daily bank reconciliation to ensure sufficient liquidity.

  • Oversee daily Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable transaction processing and reconciliation of business partner accounts.

  • Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements, management reports, and CAPEX.

  • Oversee the preparation of year-end taxation computations and ensure accurate and timely lodgement of the annual tax return.

  • Review and analyse monthly financial results to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and gaps.

  • Preparation of yearly audit pack for external auditors.

Requirements
  • Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in a senior financial accountant position.

  • Solid knowledge of financial accounting, management accounting, cost accounting, audit, and tax.

  • Ability to think strategically to support senior leadership.
