Electricity Network Planner

Our company is seeking a skilled Electrical Network Planning Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development of D-REZs (Distribution Renewable Energy Zones) to accommodate embedded generators, storage and large loads in our sub-transmission network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading comprehensive network planning processes to assess network capabilities, identify emerging limitations and issues, and develop strategies to address them.
- Developing proposals for network investment plans and collaborating with stakeholders to implement these plans.
- Providing mentoring and coaching to junior engineers within the team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in electrical engineering or power systems engineering.
- Advanced technical knowledge and experience in electricity network planning.
- Strong understanding of Chapter 5 and Chapter 5A of the NER (National Electricity Rules).
- Experience in using electricity network analysis tools or relevant software.
