Forklift and Asset Coordinator

We are looking for a reliable and customer-friendly individual who is interested in and has basic knowledge of trucks, machinery, and equipment to join our Operations team as a Forklift Operator/Asset Inspector at our Darwin branch.
This exciting opportunity involves booking in assets by taking photos, entering descriptions and details onto an auction system. You will be responsible for:
- Locating, moving (sometimes using a forklift), and recording the movements of all assets
- Assisting other team members with their duties when required
- Conducting daily prestart forklift checks, weekly detail and maintenance checks, and completing forklift logbooks to ensure safe activities
- Loading/unloading trucks of assets efficiently to ensure timely delivery
- Preparing the weekly auction and maintaining a safe work environment following WHS policies and procedures
The successful candidate must have a current and valid drivers' license with the ability to drive manual, basic computer skills, and ability to maintain quality standards and meet deadlines.
A key aspect of this role is working collaboratively with others as part of a team and having a fast-learning attitude.
