Secondary Teacher - Drama Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Secondary Teacher to join our team as a Drama Specialist.

  • Develop engaging, high-quality Drama lessons aligned with the WA Curriculum (ATAR and General).
  • Create inclusive learning environments that support diverse student needs, fostering creativity and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on programming, assessments, and productions.
  • Support and coordinate College Drama performances, events, and productions.
  • Contribute to students' academic, social, and spiritual development within a Christian ethos.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in education with TRBWA registration and recognized teaching qualifications.
  • Proven success in teaching Drama at the secondary school level, with strong curriculum knowledge.
  • Ability to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment using effective management strategies.
  • Proficiency in educational technology and excellent communication skills for building positive relationships.

This position requires:

  • Personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • Active participation in a Church or Christian community and exemplification of Christian beliefs, behavior, and practices.
  • Acceptance of the College's Statement of Faith.
  • Co-operative and supportive relationships with staff, students, and parents.
  • Deliver lectures, conduct workshops, and facilitate discussions on various aspects of drama.
  • Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Design and implement assessment tools to evaluate student progress.
