Teach Drama at a Secondary School

Key Responsibilities:- Deliver engaging and innovative Drama lessons aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum (ATAR and General).
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that fosters creativity, collaboration, and diversity.
- Collaborate with colleagues on programming, assessments, and productions to provide students with a well-rounded educational experience.
- Support and coordinate college Drama performances, events, and productions to showcase student talent.
- Contribute to students' academic, social, and spiritual development within a Christian ethos.
- Participate in the broader life of the school, including co-curricular activities and community events.
- Degree in Education with Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA) registration and recognized teaching qualifications.
- Demonstrated success in teaching Drama at the secondary school level, with strong curriculum knowledge.
- Ability to create a positive and productive learning environment using effective management strategies.
- Proficiency in educational technology and excellent communication skills for building relationships.
- Commitment to the Christian values and ethos of our institution, with a focus on professional growth.
Essential Criteria:
- A personal faith and commitment to Jesus Christ.
- An active role in a Church or Christian community, exemplifying Christian beliefs, behavior, and practices.
- Acceptance of the institution's Statement of Faith.
- Building cooperative and supportive relationships with the board, principal, staff, students, and parents.
- Ensuring personal best practice.
- Making decision based on fact, being impartial and fair.
- Modeling proper channels of communication.
- Acting in the best interest of the institution and its ethos.
- Adhering to all policies and procedures outlined by our institution.
- Possession of a First Aid certificate.
- Possession of a Working With Children Card.
