Senior Commercial Contracts Lawyer

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
This is an exciting opportunity to partner closely with the business, providing pragmatic legal advice across a breadth of legal issues including commercial contracts and financial services regulatory requirements.
Main Responsibilities:- Drafting, negotiating and reviewing a wide range of commercial agreements, including customer and supplier contracts.
- Working with the bid and new business teams on tenders and negotiation of contracts.
- Supporting contract lifecycle management and advising on disputes when they arise.
- Assisting the General Counsel on governance, compliance and risk-related responsibilities, including policy development and regulatory obligations under the Corporations Act, FSR and privacy regimes.
- Ensuring legal/security documentation is properly executed and compliant.
- Between 3–6 years post-qualification experience (PQE) with relevant legal experience in private practice and/or in-house.
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts.
- Experience with FSR and privacy legislation beneficial.
- Able to provide independent, commercially relevant legal advice.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams across multiple jurisdictions.
