The EightSix Network is seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead their team in Yellowknife. As a key member of the retail operation, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store's success through effective leadership, staff management, and operational excellence.

Salary:

The salary for this position is estimated to be $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

Job Responsibilities:

As a Store Manager at the EightSix Network, your main duties will include:

  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of dedicated and motivated retail professionals.
  • Monitor inventory levels, track merchandise turnover, and manage stock ordering to ensure the store is well-stocked with popular products while minimizing overstock.
  • Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service. Resolve customer inquiries, issues, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Set sales targets and goals, implement effective sales strategies, and monitor financial performance. Identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost control.
  • Oversee the presentation and layout of the store to optimize the shopping experience for customers.
  • Ensure that the store adheres to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and compliance with local regulations.
  • Generate regular reports on store performance, sales trends, and other key metrics to inform decision-making.
Requirements:

To be successful as a Store Manager at the EightSix Network, you will need:

  • Previous retail management experience, preferably as a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and basic financial analysis.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Knowledge of the Yellowknife retail market is a plus.
