The Role
We are seeking a dynamic leader to join our team as a General Manager of IT Infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity to drive large-scale technology change and design, build, and manage our next phase of IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead a high-performing team responsible for providing and guaranteeing a reliable infrastructure to support and operate all systems, networks, and telecommunication platforms.
- Execute the Infrastructure strategy that supports the overall strategy of Group Technology, driving best practices for IT Infrastructure.
- Assess, scale, and improve the infrastructure architecture for all current and future business requirements, including store and digital growth, as well as new and emerging technologies.
- Advise on significant enterprise-level improvements and measurable business benefits by identifying, proposing, initiating, and leading significant programs of improvement.
- Develop and maintain flexible yet disciplined governance structures to optimize technology priorities, delivery speed, and related spend, continuously reviewing and assessing performance of financials/budgets, as well as delivery by key vendors to the enterprise.
About You
We are looking for a dynamic leader with a passion for change, experience delivering large-scale technology transformations at a complex business. You will have a solid understanding of Data Centres, Cloud, Networks, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity Planning, End User Compute, and Unified Communications Technologies.
Requirements
- A degree in Engineering with additional IT qualifications or equivalent work experience.
- Proven ability to articulate a clear vision and get buy-in across a large organization for cutting-edge initiatives.
- Experience in translating broad corporate next-generation strategies into clear, specific business deliverables and solutions.
- Experience in a gaming/hospitality environment would be advantageous.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to develop people and build an effective team culture.
