
Mental Health Inpatient Unit Coordinator

The role of Inpatient Unit Coordinator is pivotal in delivering high-quality nursing care in a Mental Health setting.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading a multidisciplinary team to plan, implement, and review patient care
- Collaborating with patients and their families to support recovery-focused care
- Developing and maintaining relationships with healthcare providers to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Nursing and current RN registration
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a dynamic team environment
Selection Criteria:
- Strong leadership and coordination skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Experience working in a Mental Health setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinating the delivery of patient care
- Engaging with patients and families to promote recovery
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes
Qualifications and Experience:
- Postgraduate qualification in Nursing or related field
- Current RN registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia
- Proven track record of effective teamwork and collaboration
