About the Role

This Reconciliations Officer position at Easy Authoring is a contract role with possible extension until June 2025. You will be based in Goulburn, NSW, and work on-site. The hourly pay rate ranges from $43.20 to $45.60 per hour, plus Super.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily reconciliations of transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies, and supporting accurate financial reporting.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, receipts, general ledger accounts, and other financial records from payment portals.
  • Navigate through Excel daily and collate data from various reporting tools to assist with reconciliations.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies or variances in transactions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial record-keeping and partnering agencies to resolve queries.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant accounting standards.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in reconciliation and reporting procedures.
Requirements
  • At least 6 months of experience in an accounts role with a heavy focus on reconciliations.
  • Previous experience with large ERP systems.
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
  • Prior experience working in high-volume, transactional environments.
  • Strong communication skills and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, multitask, and have a can-do attitude.
  • Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively within a team.
