Job Overview

The role of a Local Home Loan Specialist at Queensland Country Bank involves providing personalized service to new and existing members, while becoming skilled across the bank's products and services.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by understanding the needs of members and developing solutions tailored to their requirements.
  • Manage and process lending applications, including personal and credit card lending, as well as mortgage lending.
  • Assist the local manager with business development, loan management, and processing complex loans.
  • Organize loan distribution, ensuring accurate cheque issuance to relevant parties.
  • Participate in staff training and coaching initiatives.
  • Oversee the retention program for the mortgage book, focusing on Mount Pleasant members.
Qualifications / Selection Criteria
  • Demonstrated lending experience and sales skills.
  • A proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including active listening.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
  • Sound mathematical skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
  • Understanding of the bank's products and services is highly desirable.
