Key Responsibilities:

  • BUILDING TRUST WITH CLIENTS AND PARTNERSHIPS WITH STAKEHOLDERS.
  • IDENTIFYING BARRIERS TO RETURN TO WORK FOLLOWING ILLNESS OR INJURY AND COLLABORATING TO SOLVE PROBLEMS, PLAN, AND ACHIEVE SAFE AND SUSTAINABLE RECOVERY AND RETURN TO WORK AND INDEPENDENCE.
  • SUPPORTING EXPERTISE IN MULTI-DISCIPLINARY TEAMS.
  • SENIOR AND PRINCIPAL REHABILITATION CONSULTANTS CONTRIBUTE TO SERVICE EVOLUTION THROUGH CENTRES OF EXCELLENCE.

Day-to-Day Tasks:

  • CONDUCTING THOROUGH ASSESSMENTS, INCLUDING VOCATIONAL, PRE-EMPLOYMENT, ACTIVITIES OF DAILY LIVING, WORKPLACE, AND ERGONOMIC ASSESSMENTS.
  • CASE MANAGEMENT AND REPORTING.
  • TRAVELING TO CLIENTS, FLEXIBLE WORK-FROM-HOME, AND OFFICE BASE.

Requirements:

  • QUALIFICATIONS AS OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST, PHYSIOLOGIST, EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGIST, OSTEOPATH (POST 2016), OR REHABILITATION COUNSELLOR.
  • REGISTRATION OR ABILITY TO ACQUIRE REGISTRATION FOR AHPRA, ESSA ACCREDITATION (AEP), OR ASORC.
